Please call NY Senators today for autism health insurance reform - Your calls make a difference - Autism Action Network

Your calls letters and faxes are having an impact. The New York Senate just decided to delay a key vote on Senate Bill S7000, the insurance reform bill that promises a lot but won't deliver. They say a better bill is needed.

Please keep up the pressure by calling Sen. Eric Schneiderman, Chair of the New York Senate Insurance committee and the other Senate Codes Committee members
Your telephone calls are desperately needed today to the members of the New York Senate Codes Committee. Please let them know that you support Senate Bill S6123, the autism health insurance reform bill supported by the autism community.

S 6123 would put into law that insurers regulated by the state must provide specific services.  S7000 provides no solid guarantees for any services. We aren't just saying that but the New York Association of Counties, the organization that represents the 62 county executives said the exact same thing in a recent memo to the Senate.
