Information technology services firm Computer Sciences has announced that its DynPort Vaccine, a joint venture with Porton International, has proven promising in preliminary tests. According to reports, a trial of the cell-cultured vaccine had encouraging results. In addition, the trial of 350 patients showed that risk of side effects like nausea was reduced in patients taking the DynPort vaccine than the traditional Dryvax. Computer Sciences controls 51 percent of the venture and Porton International the other 49 percent.
