INTERNATIONAL IMMUNIZATION NEWS

 

"Anti-Measles Campaign in Zambia Successful"

More than 5 million Zambian children between the ages of six months and 15 years received measles vaccinations as part of a national anti-measles campaign held in early June.  The campaign originally targeted 4.5 million to 5 million children.  Funding for the campaign was provided by UNICEF, the World Health Organization, and other international bodies.
