Vaccine
damage - letter - The Herald, UK - "What the medical profession is
loath to admit is that there is more of a link between these disorders
and the introduction of mass vaccination programmes than just a
temporal one. That profession will admit that vaccines can cause
fullblown encephalitis/encephalopathy (they trigger inflammation by
their very nature), but they are strategically silent as regards to
subclinical brain damage/disorder. Strategically, out of fear of what
the admittance of a larger downside to vaccines than what the
authorities will officially own up to will do to vaccine uptake levels.
But that fear continues to let unsafe vaccines fill the market. That is
not best practice. That is cover-up, pure and simple. The cat is well
and truly out of the bag now with all the autism spectrum disorder
about, which coincides with a large increase in the vaccine schedule
for the past decade or so. Yes, there is a 'genetic link' to all this.
It's the genetic predisposition to be damaged by vaccines."

neglect to deny young women this vaccine. This is not about parents'
right to personal beliefs, but about children's right to long-term
health protection. The injection should be as universal as the polio or
the BCG injection. And until it can be given in primary school,
adolescent girls should be educated in safe sex and empowered to sign
their own consent forms."

reports also showed that individual syringes were used. However, the
government hospital which carried out the post-mortem found all died of

doc calls for probe into jab claims - Sunday Sun, UK - "The Sunday
Sun revealed a court ruled that Hannah developed autism after receiving
a cocktail of jabs. Experts fear her condition might have been
triggered by two of the vaccinations which contained thiomerosal, a
mercury-based preservative, which reacted with a DNA defect in Hannah’s
body. It comes at a time when Dr Andrew Wakefield is before the UK’s
General Medical Council facing a charge of misconduct originating from

The
burden of autism - In Malaysia, awareness of autism has increased
in the last few years but more research is needed to assess the
situation and to draft an efficient support system to address it. -
Malaysia Star - "Dr Hasnah Toran, a senior lecturer in Early
Intervention, Autism and Assessment from Universiti Kebangsaan
Malaysia’s Education Faculty, believed the situation in Malaysia is
closer to that of the US as revealed by the recent research. 'There are
various problems with the survey conducted in Malaysia (which said that
one in 625 Malaysian children is autistic). For one, it was only
conducted in Perak. That represents only the tip of an iceberg in
relation to the birth rate around the country. I’m not convinced (of
the figures) because each time I walk into a school, I can see some
students displaying autistic symptoms,' she said."

Canadian
lawsuit blames U.S. utility for pollution in Windsor, Ont., Kennedy says
- The Canadian Press via Google - "Mercury discharges into the Detroit
River are causing cancer, amount to 'child abuse,' and are damaging the
quality of life in this border city, American environmentalist Robert
Kennedy Jr. said Sunday. Kennedy made the comments in announcing at a
conference that his Riverkeepers group had launched a Canadian lawsuit
against Michigan utility, Detroit Edison, over discharges from one of
the company's two power plants in Detroit. High rates of cancer -
especially of the thyroid - in Windsor could be traced to the river
pollution, Kennedy said. 'That's assault and battery, and worse because
you can die from it," he said. 'What's the difference if you die from a
brain tumour or if you die from a bullet? There's no difference.'"

How
Much Do Chemicals Affect Our Health? - Philip Landrigan tracks how
dangers like the WTC can cause problems like ADD. - DISCOVER Magazine -
"After five years of detailed analysis, you went to work on a large
report for the National Academy in 1992. What happened next? We
got the report mostly ready, and we turned in what we thought was a
virtually final draft to the Academy that fall. There was a woman there
who had been a senior staffer in the Office of Management and Budget in
the Reagan administration and the first Bush administration. She was
the senior support person for our committee at the National Academy.
She was very helpful, and then we gave her the report around October of
’92, and she said she’d go through it, clean up the English, check the
punctuation, do the footnotes, and all that kind of good stuff that a
good staff person is supposed to do. She did all that and she sent the
text back between Thanksgiving and Christmas of ’92, and thank God we
read it because she had gutted the report. She had softened the
conclusions. She had changed the word cancer to tumor throughout and
just deeply weakened the report.'....'What do we know so far about
autism and the environment? There have been three or four very
high-quality studies that have tried to link thimerosal exposure in
vaccines to autism, and none of them found anything. I know people have
said it could be a vulnerable subgroup of children that’s buried in the
larger group. Maybe. Who’s to say it’s not there. All I can say is that
right now there’s no evidence that thimerosal causes autism. On the
other hand, there are lots of reasons to think that something in the
environment must be causing autism. The disease runs in families to
some extent, so you know there’s a genetic component. But then you’ll
have kids with no family background, so clearly environmental things
trigger the disease. We just haven’t been smart enough yet to recognize
them. Do you think the National Children’s Study could change
that? I’ll be looking at the links between autism and known
neurotoxins, like lead, mercury, and pesticides. If the autism rate is
indeed one in 150, then a population of 100,000 will give us about 650
to 700 kids with autism, which will be about the largest collection of
autistic children ever put together.'"

Facility Cited for Problems by FDA - Newsinferno.com - "In

vaccines—11 lots of PedvaxHIB vaccine and two lots of Comvax
vaccine—when quality control checks revealed production equipment might
not have been properly sterilized. Merck also quarantined a
nearly one-year supply of other potentially suspect doses.
Vaccines involved protect against Hib—or Haemophilus influenzae type
b—disease and other conditions; Comvax also prevents against hepatitis
B. The vaccines were distributed beginning April 2007 and all but
one lot was distributed in the United States. Merck supplies
about half the 14 million doses of Hib vaccine used in the U.S.

Third
of parents 'refuse cancer jab' - The Telegraph, UK - "One in three
parents could refuse to allow their teenage daughters to receive a new
cervical cancer jab amid fears about its long-term safety, a study
suggests today. Hundreds of thousands of 12 and 13-year-olds are to be
offered the vaccine from September as part of a drive to prevent deaths
from the disease. However, early results suggest that a significant
proportion of parents will not give permission for their child to
receive the injection."

I-Team: Vaccine Concern Part 2 (includes video) - CBS 4 - "Cronin
says it is an uphill battle trying to investigate whether the Gardasil
shot played any role in what has happened to Brittney. Christina Bell
says Brittney's pediatrician does not believe there is a link. Now the
Bell family has learned that Merck can't be sued over its Gardasil
vaccine because it has been added to a federal list of vaccines
recommended by the government. The vaccine manufacturers are insulated
from liability. It's a fact many parents, and even some doctors, may
not be aware of. 'You can't sue Merck over Gardasil,' Gillen told
Dr. Siqueira. She replied, 'It's because vaccines are protected.'"

I-Team: Vaccine Concern Part 1 (includes video) - CBS 4 - "In
searching for answers as to why her daughter now suffers from a limb
paralysis, Christina Bell says she couldn't shake the idea that it
might somehow be tied to the HPV vaccine. She hasn't found a doctor to
agree with her, including the pediatrician who recommended the shot.
'He doesn't believe it has anything to do with the shot at all,' said
Bell. She says he stopped returning her calls. When the CBS4 I-Team
tried calling him, he didn't return the calls. Bell began to research
the vaccine herself and what she found startled her -
government-compiled reports, filed from around the country, of adverse
events that occurred sometimes within hours, other times within weeks,
of a GARDASIL vaccination."

"Contaminated children's vaccines and other potentially serious

were among the areas of concern cited by inspectors from the U.S. Food

the agency is not aware of problems with vaccines at the plant and so
is not taking action."

shots!! Cool band-aids, “Wow you were so brave!” hugs and kisses
go a long way to help as well! The “kindergarten shots” are a
milestone event! Celebrating with a special book or ice cream
cone on the way home can ease the experience. Reasons to avoid
vaccines? Serious allergic reaction to a certain substance is a
definite reason to avoid a particular vaccine. Be sure to let
your health care provider know if you have a serious allergic reaction
to eggs, gelatin, neomycin or streptomycin, or if you have had a
serious reaction to a specific vaccine in the past. Certain vaccines
that contain these ingredients should be avoided. Additionally,
children and adults who have a weakened immune system generally should
not receive a live virus, as they may be at risk of contracting the
infection. There are definite exceptions to this
recommendation. The MMR and varicella vaccine should be postponed
for a time in folks who have recently received a blood transfusion or
blood products, as the vaccine is not as effective."
