GMC Fitness to Practice Hearing on Dr Wakefield, Professors Murch and Walker-Smith - sci.med via Google Groups - "Conclusion to finding of facts: GMC, London 28 January, 2 pm  - CryShame is again organising a demonstration of support for the doctors outside the GMC building on the day, and we urge you to join us. This will be a landmark day in the long and exhausting fight to get justice for our children. Anyone attending the hearing over the last few years will be in little doubt of what the outcome should be. Each of the doctors presented a robust defence backed by solid documented fact to indicate that none of the allegations constitutes anything approaching professional misconduct. On the contrary, the GMC hearing has served to emphasise the dedication, care and courage of these three men in the face of a political trial that was triggered by a journalist and manipulated by a desperate system.  Please be there to support the doctors. Current expectations are that the decision will be announced at 2 pm on the 28th Jan, but do refer to the CryShame website (www.cryshame.co.uk) where news will be posted of any possible changes."

November 20, 2009 - Daines is at it again - Act now to protect vaccine rights in NY - The Autism Action Coalition - "Governor David Paterson and Commissioner Richard Daines, the two biggest enemies of vaccine choice rights in America, have a bill in Albany right now, S3256/A8133 that would permanently eliminate many healthcare workers' right to decide whether they get a flu shot or not.  Right now healthcare workers have a right to a religious or personal belief exemption from seasonal flu mandates. Paterson and Daines are out to take away choice from healthcare workers, from students and from you. They failed to do that with the illegal order we stopped last month.  So they are trying to pass a law to achieve the same goal. Paterson's and Daines' goal is to eliminate any personal choice on what vaccines you and your family receive. That's why Paterson and Daines tried to pass A 10942 'the worst vaccine bill ever' last year. We succeeded in stopping A 10942: we can stop this too."
