Your article was a great disappointment simply because you are clearly misinformed, period! My grandchild could count to 16, initiate games she developed with her father. She would sit at the top of her outdoor slide and sing Ole McDonald giving every animal sound correctly. She spoke in sentences and was a very intelligent girl.

Then she got the  last Hib, 4th polio, fourth DPT an MMR all on one day. We watched her almost disintegrate before our eyes. She has not spoken since, has lost all ability to function normally--and yes, we do blame the shots. WE think she received too much mercury in one day. WE think she had been slowly being poisoned all along because we saw problems, but our pediatrician and public health nurses in their zeal to vaccinate and their ignorance in realizing they are being deluded by the drug companies and the CDC refused to listen. They said "these shots are 100% safe, 100% effective." Even our druggist says he "does not have a product on his shelf that is 100% safe, 100% effective"!

Doctors and public health threatened they could take our child away if we did not allow them to practice their brand of mayhem [ it is murder and mayhem].  Later we found that by both Utah law and federal law we could have opted out so they lied to us as well as destroying an innocent child. To our eternal sorrow we succumbed and have had to suffer, emotionally. financially, watch her become a walking vegetable before our eyes.

You, who put your heads in the sand, who continue to buy the line of the ignorant and deceiving medical profession [ do you really think they are infallible--that they walk on water?] do all of us Americans a disservice. Just wait until it happens to one you love--because chances are it will. Too many of our young people can expect to see their children be autistic in the future because of the elevated titre levels for measles alone.

You, Sir, need to get out from behind your desk and attend just one of the DAN [defeat autism now ] conferences. You would have to be the most unfeeling, [or bought off ?] human alive if you did not rethink your stand. Something is mighty wrong---too many kids are being brain damaged. Is it in the water? The air? One has to realize something that affects so many children---all over the nation---has to be looked into. Why the hesitancy to thoroughly study the vaccine issue--why not make them safer---are you really so sure of your stand? Common sense says you couldn't be, so what is it?

I did my nurses training at BYU, my special education at U of U, hold a minor in chemistry and I say you are sadly WRONG! Even the very fact there is so much hesitancy says there has been deceit going on to me.
