Addressing a symposium on contemporary issues in reproductive health in Peshawar, Pakistan, NWFP Minister for Health Mehr Taj Roghani announced a planned hepatitis B vaccination program for infants in the province. She also called for increased education about needle safety, noting how the health department uses auto-destruct syringes for vaccinations so they cannot be re-used.
