"Deal Close With Dutch Company for TB Vaccine"
Financial Times (www.ft.com) (09/19/02) P. 5; Jenkins, Patrick
Britain is following the lead of Ireland by trying to work out a deal with Statens Serum Institut of the Netherlands to be supplied with BCG tuberculosis vaccine. The government hopes to have the product in time to start the school inoculation program on time. The emergency deal was necessitated by Powderject's tuberculosis vaccine being recalled because of potency problems. Powderject will once again be Britain's supplier after it works out the problems with its supplies.
