Children’s plea over MMR

TWO autistic children will today present a petition to the Scottish Parliament calling for thousands of fellow victims to be tested to see if their condition was caused by the MMR jag.

A research study found that Angus Kyle, ten, had the measles virus in his blood but has not had measles, fuelling fears that his autism was caused by the controversial MMR vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella.

The presentation by Angus and fellow sufferer Matthew Law, eight, of Midlothian, coincides with similar petitions in England, Ireland and Wales by Action Against Autism.
