Subject: $1.5 million on autism research will be lost.

Dear New Jersey Parents:

As you know we were promised by NJ legislators that the autism legislation will be voted on this September 2001, but unfortunately they never posted the legislation. This legislation will allocates $1.5 million/year (a total of 7.5 million for five years) for autism research to UMDNJ. Sallie, Agnes and myself two weeks ago had a meeting with acting governor Donald T. DiFrancesco and he is well aware of this legislation.

Acting Governor  is the only person who is able to bring this legislation to a vote. The last chance for this legislation is October 4, 2001 which the senate will meet for the last time.

We are asking every parents, grandparents, teachers, neighbors and friends to pick up the phone and call the office of acting governor Donald T. DiFrancesco at 609-292-5199 and ask the acting governor "to combing the autism legislation A1970
(Assembly version) to S1133 (Senate version) and post S1133 for a vote this coming October 4, 2001.

I am asking you to please call as soon as possible. I am asking the PACT mothers to help our kids as they always do. We need COSAC to help as well.

Together we can make a better future for our kids, please pick up the phone and call.

Sincerely,

Albert Enayati
