Economic Times of India (www.economictimes.com) (10/07/02); Ghosh, Jayanta
A marketing agreement between Ranbaxy Laboratories and Aventis Pasteur focuses on six vaccines--against rabies, meningitis, measles, typhoid, hepatitis A, and Haemophilus influenzae--in India, according to Ranbaxy regional d director Sanjiv D. Kaul. Ranbaxy will promote Aventis' Verorab rabies vaccine, while both companies will promote the other five products. Ranbaxy will judge the success of the marketing agreement and could eventually form a separate unit to deal with vaccine marketing.
