"PowderJect Launches Arilvax Yellow Fever Vaccine in the Netherlands" AFX News (www.afxpress.com) (10/14/02)
PowderJect Pharmaceuticals has introduced Arilvax, its yellow fever vaccine, in the Netherlands. The company noted that over 3 million Europeans are expected to travel this year to areas in which yellow fever is endemic, including as many as 250,000 people from the Netherlands. The disease, which is transmitted by mosquitoes, causes symptoms including fever, vomiting, and jaundice.
