"Cholera Claims 20 Lives in Northern Nigeria" Xinhua News Agency (202.84.17.11/en/main.htm) (10/13/02)
A cholera epidemic in Lagos' northern state of Bauchi is "widespread" and has claimed the lives of 20 people, according to state house assembly member Alhaji Tanko Dutse. Dutse called on the state government to take steps against the disease, noting that the large number of infected individuals is putting a strain on area health facilities. ALL INFORMATION, DATA, AND
