“University of Wyoming Trustees Approve Two-Dose Vaccine
Rule” Associated Press (www.ap.org) (09/09/01)
Due to measles outbreaks on college campuses in recent
years, University of Wyoming trustees have voted to require that, starting next
fall, students at the college receive two doses of the measles, mumps, and
rubella vaccine before attending classes.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American College
Health Association recommend two doses of the vaccine. Two doses of the vaccine are required in 32
other states and also in Wyoming public schools.
