"More Polio Cases Registered in Northern Afghan Province"

Two cases of polio have been reported in Afghanistan's northern Konduz Province. Gen. Mohammad Daud, a military official of the province, noted that participants at a recent meeting with UNICEF decided to launch a polio vaccination effort in the province, as well as in other areas of the country where children have not yet been immunized against the disease.
