CASE STUDY

Nov 25 2002

MARIE Blair made up her mind against the MMR jab after a "perfectly normal" young girl she knew developed autism after having the triple injection.

Yesterday, Marie and her husband Kenneth, from Hamilton, Lanarkshire, took two- year-old Emily along to the clinic to have the first of the single jabs.

She said: "I just didn't trust the information that was being given out about the MMR jab.

"And particularly because Tony Blair has never said whether his son had the jab.

"Parents should be given the choice over single jabs. We are fortunate in that we can pay for it."
