"Availability of Continuing Education CD-ROM Program on Strategies to Increase Adult Vaccination Rates" Journal of the American Medical Association Online (www.jama.com)

A CD-ROM titled "Increasing Adult Vaccination Rates: WhatWorks" has been made available by the Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine and the National Immunization Program of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  The interactive tool offers primary-care providers ideas about how to boost vaccination rates among adult patients.  In addition, the program allows users to test their understanding of vaccines and their uses, as well as about vaccine-preventable diseases.  Users can access reference tools for common questions and even create a customized action plan for vaccinating adults at their practices. Web site links are also provided, mostly those that are associated with either of the program's sponsors.
