15,000 French citizens sued the French Government for overstating the benefits and understating the risks of the hepatitis B vaccine for infants.  As a result the vaccine is no longer mandatory for infants.   The link below is an article by a statistician whose daughter died after a hepatitis B vaccination.  He suspected the vaccine death statistics were bogus because his daughters death was not included in the statistics even though she died during the reporting period.  The French experience shows that you can fight "city hall" and win.
