I am a teacher of a 13 year old student who has had flu-like symptoms since
the end of November which is, coincidently, when she received the first of
the Hepatitis-B vaccine.  The only enduring symptom other than fatigue is
swollen, red, painful eyelids.
 
She received the second in the series on January 29.  her symptoms have
continued, but just recently have worsened.  Her mother suspected, without
any information whatsoever that it was related to the vaccine.  Her doctor
dismissed the idea.  However, as I type this, she is on her way to
__________ with complete kidney shut-down.  I have researched all day
looking at the link between the Hepatitis-B vaccine and kidney failure and
have found none.  Is it possible they are connected?
 
Please help us!  I feel so desperate to help this family out somehow.  What
can be done?
