“U.K. to Recruit Healthy People for Clinical Study of HIV Vaccine”

The University of Kentucky will be testing for the first time two HIV vaccines on a healthy sample pool.  The researchers will see how the Merck products help the immune system produce T-cell responses and HIV antibodies. The vaccines are unique in that they produce cytotoxic lymphocytes.
