India and Sudan this week inked an intergovernmental agreement on science and technology in an effort to increase scientific cooperation.  Some of the areas identified for cooperation include vaccines for malaria, leprosy, and hepatitis B; diagnostic kits for diseases such as HIV; and renewable sources of energy.
