  • February 2, 2000: A large proportion of the Chinese migrant boat people who arrived in British Columbia last summer are chronic carriers of hepatitis B, the Canadian Medical Association Journal reports.

     

  • September 17, 1999: Now you can view the proceedings of a consensus conference on the management of viral hepatitis sponsored by the Canadian Association for Study of the Liver and Health Canada.   • July 13, 1999: According to a recent study published in the July issue of HEPATOLOGY, the monthly peer-reviewed journal of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), Interferon efficacy can be increased if treatment is prolonged beyond standard therapy.
