The Institute of Medicine will hold a Forum
on Smallpox; The Scientific Basis for Vaccination Policy Options on
Saturday, June 15th in Washington, DC. This one-day meeting will be a
discussion of the scientific evidence that provides the foundation for
smallpox immunization policy options. The goal of the forum is to obtain
input from scientists, policymakers, clinicians, emergency responders, the
public, and others on the options being considered by the federal government
for smallpox immunization.
The meeting will be held at the National Academy
of Sciences Auditorium, 2101 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C.
Interested individuals are encouraged to attend and registration is free. We
ask that you register to attend the forum by completing the online
