"'Dr. Quinn' Joins Measles Fight" Associated Press (www.ap.org) (06/18/02)
Jane Seymour, who started in the television show "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman," toured vaccination centers in Kenya on Tuesday. Seymour, along with eight students from Los Angeles and a documentary film crew, toured the centers that are part of the American Red Cross' five-year Measles Initiative in Africa. On Monday, health officials in Kenya launched a one-week measles vaccination campaign aimed at 14 million children and involving 7,000 volunteers. Measles takes the lives of over 450,000 children annually in Africa. ALL INFORMATION, DATA, AND
