Schafer Autism Report Preliminary Survey On Enzyme Usage For
Treatment Of Children With Autism
The usage of enzymes for the treatment of symptoms related to autism
has been of growing interests to the autism community, especially over the
last two years. The following simple survey questionaire has been proposed
as a means of collecting preliminary information on the anecdotal
observations from families who have been using these enzymes. What products
are people using? How effective do they appear to be? Are there emerging
patterns of problems releated to enzyme usage we might be able to spot?
To facilitate the collection of information, the survey is simple and
short.
Because it is important to validate the indentity of respondents we
require Names and phone numbers. All collected information will
be held in strict confidence. The results will be published in the Schafer
Autism Report.
Here is a listing of the questions as they appear on the survey. To

1. Has you child been helped with the gluetin free / casein free diet?
2. During times when your child has accidently eaten small amounts of
gluten/casein, have you found the useage of digestive enzymes by your child
to result in less disruption?
3. Have you found that the enzymes are so effective, you no longer need the
GF/CF diet?

5. Please rate effectiveness and side effects of Klaire Labs brands of
enzymes.
6. Please rate effectiveness and side effects of Houston Nutraceuticals
brands of enzymes.
7. How good has been the quality of information you have found on
