"Cholera Confirmed in Afghan Capital"

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), three people in Kabul, Afghanistan, have been diagnosed with cholera and 6,000 have been hospitalized as part of an outbreak of diarrhea-related diseases. The WHO has implemented epidemic prevention techniques in Kabul that include water purification and public education about cholera, which is a disease attacking the human intestine causing diarrhea and can cause severe dehydration and even death.
