HIGH levels of toxins in autistic children could weaken their ability to cope with the MMR vaccine, new research has suggested.

Dr Gordon Bell, of Stirling University, has called for more research after finding the abnormal toxin levels. He believes they could weaken the response to the MMR jab, triggering autism.

Dr Bell, whose own son developed autism after the jab, has raised hopes autism may be physical, not genetic, and potentially treatable.
