E-NEWS FROM THE NATIONAL VACCINE INFORMATION CENTER

Vienna, Virginia                                    http://www.909shot.com “Protecting the health and informed consent rights of children since 1982.”

BLFisher Note:  This study was funded by Merck, a producer of hepatitis B vaccine. It specifically looked at the risk of relapse of active multiple sclerosis (MS) after hepatitis B vaccination in individuals with a multiple sclerosis diagnosis. ****It did not address the issue of the development of neuroimmune dysfunction following hepatitis B vaccination in previously healthy individuals that resembles, but is not identical to, MS. The constellation of symptoms that mark the chronic neuroimmune dysfunction being seen in adults and children following hepatitis B vaccination has features which are similar to multiple sclerosis but not identical to MS and only studying MS patients does not answer the question about whether hepatitis B vaccine causes neuroimmune dysfunction. The pattern of chronic neuroimmune dysfunction following hepatitis B vaccination, which includes severe joint pain, muscle weakness, debilitating fatigue, memory and vision loss and other serious deterioration in health, is clear and case reports continue to be made to the National Vaccine Information Center and the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System ((VAERS). The dismissal of these vaccine adverse events as “coincidental” by vaccine producers and vaccine policymakers does not negate that reality. Good basic science research conducted by independent researchers and funded by non-industry sources,is what is needed to answer the outstanding questions that remain about biological mechanisms and genetic and other potential high risk factors for adverse responses to hepatitis B vaccine. Only then will the confidence of those being asked to take the vaccine risk be restored.
