In regards to a recent Yurko Project Newsflash depicting Harold E. Buttram as singlehandedly preventing a travesty of justice, we regret that this matter was erroneously reported and in dire need of proper clarification:

Dr Buttram did not singlehandedly prevent this injustice although his excellent report was very valuable. Infact, a courageously effective lawyer, Brigitte Lotze and Dr Michael Baden, a neurologist, were in large, responsible for this victory. It was Dr Baden's second opinion that confirmed that the alleged skull fracture had been a fabrication or misreading of the radiographs by the States radiologist. The child suffered from an enlarged subarachnoid space and Barchiocephaly which led to the childs removal from the parents. No criminal charges were ever filed and thanks to this valiant lawyer and astute skill of Dr Baden, the State declined to file criminal charges. I take personal responsibility for this failure to represent the facts clearly and apologise to all parties receiving the previous, erroneous newsflash. Our apologies to Drs. Buttram, Baden and to the lawyer who handled this case with grace under pressure. Our thanks to the lawyer who gave us clarity on the full facts. The previous newsflash was not an intentional misrepresentation, nevertheless, I am ashamed and will now seek assistance in removing my foot from my mouth. No Matter What, Alan R. Yurko.
