Gee, prior to vaccination, people of that age would rarely have had to face this serious disease of adulthood. (It is rarely a serious disease in childhood.) - SM

In Western Australia, a measles outbreak has led health authorities
to warn people aged between 18 and 30 years to make sure they are vaccinated
against the disease. Health Department communicable
disease control acting director Gary Dowse stated recently that nine cases of
the disease have been confirmed over the last five weeks, including four that
required hospitalization. Dowse noted
that the outbreak of measles had been linked to a 25-year-old woman who
contracted measles while visiting Bali.
“Measles will continue to be imported from overseas and is highly
infectious, so it is important that we keep our vaccination rates high, or the
disease will re-establish itself,” he explained.
