"New Fund Is Begun to Offer Vaccines" New York Times (www.nytimes.com) (12/03/02) P. A20
World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Gro Harlem Brundtland has established a new fund that will pay to send drugs, vaccines, supplies, and public investigators to the scenes of international public health emergencies, which will increase the speed at which the organization responds to such incidents. The Nuclear Threat Initiative will donate the first $500,000 to the fund, and Brundtland is soliciting other donations from similar health organizations. ALL INFORMATION, DATA, AND
