El Paso Times (www.elpasotimes.com) (12/27/02) P. 1B; Meritz, Darren
Health officials in El Paso, Texas, have confirmed that one area resident has been diagnosed with the Hong Kong flu strain, and more cases are expected as school starts up again next month. The Hong Kong flu strain, which is not seen very often in the United States, has been reported throughout Texas. Health officials are calling on people who have not already been vaccinated to do so now, noting that there is plenty of vaccine available.
