Letter from Ray Gallup re: Dr. Miller letter "Protect the Children":
Dear Editor:
In response to the letter dated December 4, 2002 by Henry I. Miller, MD, I
disagree with him 100%. He states that "States should terminate 'personal' and
philosophical' exemptions from vaccination, and only documented allergy or
sensitivity to vaccines should qualify."
Our son, Eric was born normal in 1985. In April 1986, Eric got the
measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine and gradually regressed into autism. In
1995, a pediatric immunologist did an immune blood panel test on Eric and found
his measles antibody titers to be ten times higher than normal as well as T-cell
abnormalities. The immunologist asked if he was recently vaccinated and we said
no. Also, Eric has autism enterocolitis. All because we vaccinated our son and
put our trust in the medical community.
I have been in contact with hundreds of parents around the world that report the
same regarding their children with autism.
There have been no independent, long-term safety studies done on any of the
vaccines. Vaccines contain thimerosal (mercury), formaldhyde (used in
embalming), aluminum, anti-freeze, various animal tissues (monkey, pig, chick
embryo, etc.) aborted human fetal tissue and other toxins. These ingredients can
be found on the vaccine product inserts and can be gotten by requesting them
from the vaccine companies. There have been numerous cases of children who were
vaccinated getting the disease after they were vaccinated so the question of
vaccines being effective are very questionable.
Every state should have personal and philosophical exemptions from vaccination.
At present vaccinations are mandated in the US and it should be up to people to
have a choice to vaccinate or not vaccinate. By mandating vaccinations, the
medical community is violating the Constitutional rights of US citizens. I would
ask any doctor including Dr. Miller, if he is so sure that vaccines are safe,
would he sign a notarized document saying that he would be responsible for any
children that was vaccinated and became disabled that he would care for that
child the rest of his/her life?
