"Angola: WHO Donates 10 Tons of Medicines"
Africa News Service (www.allafrica.com) (12/19/02)
The World Health Organization (WHO) has donated 10 tons of medicines, including measles vaccines and antibiotics, to Angola. The drugs were delivered to the National Health Directorate in Luanda by the Portuguese Embassy there, and will be used to aid families staying in resettlement areas. The WHO launched a global appeal this year to help families in Angola's resettlement zones, trying to improve their living standards.
