"Thailand Developing Two More HIV Vaccines"

Thailand hopes to start human trials of two additional vaccines
against HIV by 2004, according to Health Minister Sudarat
Keyuraphan. The country announced last month that it will soon
launch the world's largest HIV tests. The new BCG-gag E and
Vaccinia-gag E vaccines target the E strain of HIV, the health
minister said. Thailand has a recorded over 266,500 cases of HIV
infection since 1984.
