"Sudan, Ethiopia to Launch Joint Polio Eradication Program"

Health officials in Sudan and Ethiopia are working together to
eradicate polio in the two nations. At a recent meeting,
officials discussed how to control epidemics along the joint
border region and also exchanged information and resources about
immunization. Participants at the meeting included delegations
from the ministries of health of Sudan and Ethiopia, directors of
the immunization departments, representatives of the Sudanese and
Ethiopian border states, the World Health Organization, and
UNICEF.
