"Andhra Pradesh Plans to Import Vaccine"

A shortage of the Japanese encephalitis vaccine in India has led the government of Andhra Pradesh to import 1 million doses of the vaccine from Vietnam. Health officials are conducting a mass immunization effort against the Japanese encephalitis in high-risk areas of Andhra Pradesh and have already administered about 1 million doses of the vaccine.
