"Al-Khidmat to Launch Third Phase of Hepatitis B Vaccination
Campaign From August 11"

The final stage of a three-stage hepatitis B immunization
campaign in Pakistan, performed by the Al- Khidmat Society,
starts August 11. The first two phases managed to vaccinate more
than 50,000 people against the disease, at a total cost of about
25 million Pakistani rupees, according to Syed Tabassum Jafri's
speech at the Karachi Press Club. Jafri also noted that
permanent vaccine distribution centers will be set up throughout
Karachi to provide hepatitis B and other immunizations at a low
price.
