| Signs ignored
As a former British-trained primary health medical
practitioner in New Zealand since 1971, and with nearly 40 years’ of
experience, I have never seen so many young children with major
intellectual impairments and immunological dysfunction. Many were
initially developing quite normally, as evidenced on hundreds of home
videos, but then regressed into an autistic "syndrome", or developed a
chronic illness.
This quite often followed after vaccinations, whether DTaP, hepatitis B or MMR. There are also far more cases of ADHD, juvenile diabetes, asthma, epilepsy and chronic allergic conditions. Indeed, these are all reaching epidemic proportions. Any comparison of vaccinated with unvaccinated children is almost impossible where there are either mandated vaccinations, or where there are financial incentives for doctors to vaccinate. However, I have so far analysed 866 children’s histories, with 260 being unvaccinated. There are no cases of autism, epilepsy or Crohn’s, and only a handful of other diseases in this latter group. There are 16 autistics, 12 epileptics, eight cases of Crohn’s, plus cases of other illnesses in the vaccinated 606 children. Two years ago, reports from California showed that the education department was recording six new cases of DSM1V autism a day; by 2001, it was eight a day. There were 812 cases in the first three months of 2002, or nine new cases of "full-blown" autism a day. Sadly, I am convinced that, in our zeal to control childhood infectious diseases, we have ignored the warning signs, and it is going to be very costly indeed. ME GODFREY Tauranga New Zealand |
