"Many Parents Still Unwilling for Babies to Get MMR Jabs" London Daily Telegraph (www.dailytelegraph.com) (03/29/02) P. 11; Hall, Celia
According to a survey of 300 general medical practices in London, one-quarter of the physicians said they had been unable to convince parents to allow their children to receive the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine. Over 50 percent of the doctors surveyed said that uptake of the triple vaccine had dropped in recent months. The BBC Radio Five Live survey also indicated that an increasing number of parents said they would permit their children to receive single vaccinations; however, those are not allowed on the National Health Service.
