Benin's Polio Vaccination Campaign Begins

Cotonou, Benin
Benin's second national vaccination campaign against poliomyelitis started in Cotonou Wednesday morning, targeting children aged 0 to 5 years.
Several vaccination teams are involved in a door-to-door campaign in a bid to ensure the immunisation of all the children in that age bracket.
Vaccination teams in neighbouring Niger and Nigeria are also involved in a similar campaign along the their common borders with Benin.
