“Malaria Vaccine Shows Promise”

British researchers have found success treating malaria with a combination of the disease's DNA virus and the virus used to inoculate against smallpox. The results of the prime-boost approach are published in the journal Nature Medicine. The first human trials involved 63 patients in England, and they appear to show that the method is safer than an earlier form of the prime-boost approach used in other vaccination trials.
