“World Bank Approves $500 Million Loan for Argentina” Xinhua News Agency (202.84.17.11/en/main.htm) (05/23/03)
The World Bank has approved a $500 million loan to help revive economic growth and development in Argentina. The funds will be used to support social programs that help the country's poor, and it will also be used to provide basic health services, such as immunizations, infectious disease control, and medications for the poor.
