"Bharat Bio Plans to Unveil 10 New Vaccines"

Over the next five years, Bharat Biotech International plans to introduce 10 new vaccines. Bharat chairman and managing director Krishnna Ella noted that a vaccine against rabies and another against Japanese encephalitis are expected to enter the market by the end of this year. Bharat, which has received funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, recently introduced a next-generation typhoid vaccine, called Typbar, in Bangladesh. The company is the first typhoid vaccine manufacturer in the country.
