“Authorities Signal Measles Outbreak in Central Congo” PANA Wire Service (allafrica.com) (05/08/03)
A new report indicates that an outbreak of measles is taking place in central Congo, in the town of Djambala. Health care workers from the Integrated Health Center and the Department of Major Epidemics are working to vaccinate young children against the disease and have already reached 1,000 children.
