"Swiss Firm Starts Research Into SARS Vaccine"

Berna Biotech, a Swiss vaccines firm, said this week that it is investigating the development of a vaccine against severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).  The firm said that it should know within four to six months the likelihood of success and what it would need in terms of resources for the project.  The company is one of several American and European health care firms that were recently asked by U.S. scientists to help develop a SARS vaccine.
