Vaccines work and they save money, says Texas Commissioner of Health Eduardo Sanchez. "An investment in vaccines is a cost-effective investment. It will save us dollars," Sanchez asserted Monday. State Sen. Judith Zaffrini (D-Laredo) and Rep. Jaime Capelo (D-Corpus Christi) have introduced a series of bills that aim to see every child in Texas receives the appropriate immunizations.
