"Anti-Polio Drive" Pakistan Newswire (www.paknews.com) (02/28/03)
Beginning March 4, a three-day polio immunization effort in Pakistan will target 85,000 children under the age of five years living in the Dir lower. National immunization campaigns have significantly reduced the number of polio cases in Pakistan, and only 98 cases were reported in the country last year. The upcoming polio campaign will involve 504 teams going door-to-door giving vaccinations but will also include fixed centers where the immunization can be received. ALL INFORMATION, DATA, AND
