“Namibia: Minister Launches Measles, Polio Immunization Drive” Africa News Service (www.allafrica.com) (06/18/03)
Namibia’s Health and Social Services minister, Libertina Amathila, launched this week a national measles and polio immunization campaign. For the first round, children between the ages of zero and 59 months will receive the oral polio vaccine, the measles vaccine, and vitamin A supplements in eight regions of the country. A second round of immunizations will be held in those regions late next month.
