China National Biological Products Corporation, which is made up of six research institutes in the nation, has announced plans to invest about $60.5 million in developing a vaccine against severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). The funds will be used to improve lab and production facilities for SARS and flu vaccines, blood products, and other biological products.
